DVSA Connected MOT Equipment Approved
The EM8 is our Gas Analyser package comprising AGS200 and GCP3 PC-based control system. Designed specifically for the busy workshop environment, the robust EM8 incorporates the fastest MOT test procedures, developed in-house here at Boston and using our latest SW900 iV emissions control software.
The EM8 can be upgraded at any time with our OPA100 Diesel Smoke Meter module to create a full emissions testing package. Both are available with the added benefit of wireless connectivity, employing state of the art Bluetooth technology. This provides total flexibility when positioning equipment - a big advantage in any workshop. With the addition of RFC-96, our long-range Bluetooth remote control, both models can be controlled remotely from inside the vehicle.
EM8 is supplied with our attractive GCP3 circular 'drum-type' stand, featuring our BPC-091 high-specification PC, a 24" monitor and our new EOBD-400 diagnostic interface for RPM and Oil Temperature measurement. The EOBD-400 is also able to carry out diagnostic interrogation using many off-the-shelf third party applications (Android and iOS), providing useful additional benefits.
Boston emissions packages and all other MOT products are high quality, simple to use, and maintained by the best support team in the industry. We have a dedicated vehicle test lane fully installed at our head office for training and development. Customers and distributors are welcome to visit anytime, please contact us to arrange.
