EOBD Diagnostic Interface (Bluetooth 5)

The EOBD-400 is our new robust EOBD diagnostic scanner for the measurement of RPM and Oil Temperature when carrying out official UK emissions testing. Compatible with our AGS200 Gas Analyser and OPA100 Smoke Meter, the EOBD-400 connects automatically when inserted into the vehicle and transfers the required data seamlessly for either type of test.

Unlike many tools, the EOBD-400 is supplied as standard with the following accessories and features:

• A rubberised protective cover to absorb accidental impact and prevent damage to the device itself.
• A built-in high powered neodymium magnet for easy mounting / storage on the side of any metal surface. E.g. control stand or lift post.
• A bright coloured 30cm extension cable to prevent wear of the device connector (the extension cable is an easy replacement should the need arise), and also to help prevent the device being accidentally left in the vehicle after use.
• A 50cm brightly coloured lanyard for easy carrying, and also to help prevent the device being accidentally left in vehicles after use.
• The device is supplied ‘unlocked’ and can be used with multiple aftermarket applications for diagnostic purposes.

Although the EOBD-400 is intended primarily for use with our emissions test equipment, it can also be used independently as a diagnostic device by many third-party aftermarket applications.

The device is compatible with Android, iOS and Windows Operating Systems, and can easily be used as a sophisticated diagnostic scan tool and real-time performance monitor. It can read and clear vehicle fault codes, display live sensor readings and more. The EOBD-400 operates with cars and light trucks that are EOBD / OBDII compliant.

NOTE:

When used for emissions testing, EOBD-400 requires the latest Boston SW900 iV control software and a high specification PC with Class 1 Bluetooth. It is not compatible with previous versions of software.
