Developed and written in-house, SW900 iV is the latest version of our unique MOT equipment control software that operates all Boston PC based products. With sleek modern graphics, an easy-to-use interface, and many unique features not found in other MOT bays, testers benefit from a faster, more efficient and less stressful testing process.
Equipment currently operated includes Boston roller brake testers, combined emissions equipment (exhaust gas analysers & smoke meters), wireless decelerometer, and our digital headlamp aim tester (pending introduction by the DVSA).
When using SW900 iV with ‘Connected MOT Equipment’, test results are seamlessly transferred to the DVSA’s MOT Testing Service (MTS) with clear confirmation that results have been sent. In addition, a full log of uploaded results can be readily consulted and should the tester prefer, results can also be uploaded manually.
Key features include adjustable sensitivity levels for diesel emissions testing (particularly useful for newer vehicles where obtaining a reading can be difficult), flexible printout settings to save paper, option to email results directly to the customer, built-in remote assistance from the user menu including option to message our service team directly, pre-population of Vehicle Details from the MTS, automatic software updates for new features and enhancements, and test results that are automatically saved and can be easily recalled.
Built to run on the latest Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (10 & 11), we continue to invest in ongoing development to future-proof your test lane.
SW900 iV is supplied as standard with all new Boston PC operated MOT equipment and available as an upgrade for existing equipment.
