Meet the Team

As an Authorised Examiner for over 40 years, owning four MoT premises, there are few that bring so much experience to the garage equipment industry.

A Chartered Engineer, M.I.Mech.E., and Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, Ray’s career includes numerous industrial projects in the USA, Malaysia and Middle East, with offices worldwide, plus a period living in Kenya where Boston are now very active, and sponsor a Nairobi football team!

As a Boston director, Ray is fully occupied with the continuing growth of the company and is responsible for strategy, finance, marketing and exports.

Ray’s business acumen combined with his love of sport led him to become a highly respected Cricket Club President and Football League Club Director. Pastimes include wildlife photography and attempts at painting in oils… he’s also a Freeman of the City of London!

With over 25 years' experience in the automotive industry, Brad’s professional background is a combination of IT, electronics, mechanical design and engineering.

Brad grew up in the workshop; from engine rebuilds to welding and bodywork preparation, but a keen interest in technology led him to study IT and electronics just as vehicles and testing equipment started becoming more complex. With his technical expertise and a solid understanding of how garages operate, Brad’s rare profile is ideally suited to the design and manufacture of vehicle test equipment.

As a Boston director, Brad drives research & development and is in charge of product strategy, design and manufacturing, and investment into foreign markets.

Outside the office, you’ll most likely find Brad in the garage working on his old tractor that constantly breaks down. He’d buy a new one but it just wouldn’t be as much fun!
