NEW 4 Post Lift Available from January 2020
We're pleased to announce the launch of our new B443 Class 4 MOT lift. Designed specifically to meet DVSA regulations for MOT stations with limited space, the new model has an overall width of just 2.79m. The lift also benefits from a shallow recess requirement of 130mm to suit existing groundwork for vehicle testing stations replacing old lifts.
Available from January 2020, the B443 comes with a choice of two platform lengths:
The compact design also makes this range ideal for service and repair garages operating in railway arches or confined spaces.
Compared to other 4 post lifts of similar size, the B433 has 3 main advantages:
1. Solid, high-specification quality build
Following a similar design brief as our larger heavy-duty MOT lifts, the B443 incorporates the same robust I-beam profile for front and rear cross beams, and the same reinforced platform substructures. Strong, sturdy design combined with quality European manufacturing means Boston MOT lifts are built to last and deliver an excellent return on investment.
2. Wider 630mm platforms for safer testing
This represents a significant gain of 70mm per platform compared to other lifts of similar size. Furthermore, the design also allows for greater width between posts, an increased range of space between platforms, and a greater width across the outside edges of the platforms for safer testing of modern wider vehicles.
3. Optimised design to test longer wheelbase vehicles
The built-in play detectors and turning plates on this lift have been cleverly designed and positioned to enable testing of longer wheelbase vehicles than possible on other lifts of similar size. For example, you can comfortably test a LWB Ford Transit Custom on the B443-440, and the B443-530 handles LWB Mercedes Sprinters or equivalent.
A wide range of accessories are available for the B433 including Any Post Control (APC), LED lighting kits, ruggedised torch control and high-quality jacking beams.
