Request callbackDesigned specifically for smaller 'Grandfather Rights' MOT stations, the new B443-440 has an overall width of just 2.79m and a 4.4m platform.
Further to these compact dimensions, this 4 post lift benefits from a shallow recess requirement of just 130mm making it ideal for testing stations and garages operating in small railway arches or confined spaces.
Despite a narrower design, the vehicle lift still features Boston's 630mm wide platforms which comfortably accommodate the track width of larger vehicles such as the Ford Transit Custom. This represents a significant gain of 70mm per platform compared to other lifts of the same size.
Cleverly designed and positioned built-in play detectors and turning plates also enable testing of longer wheelbase vehicles than normally possible on other lifts of similar size.
These features combined with greater width between posts, increased range of space between platforms, and greater width across the outside edges of the platforms, ensure safer testing of modern wider vehicles.
As per Boston's existing range of Class 4 MOT lifts, compatible accessories include our unique Any Post Control (APC), LED lighting kits, ruggedised torch control and high-quality jacking beams.

We have had one of these lifts for around 18 months to teach students 4-wheel alignment and Technicians the MOT qualification. It has been a great investment and whilst I realise we don't use it as much as it would get used in industry, I would have no issue in recommending it, especially as it fits a smaller area.
