Wireless Play Detector Control Torch
The BTC10W is our new handheld Bluetooth remote control torch for the operation of Boston’s range of Hydraulic Wheel Play Detectors. It uses the latest Bluetooth 5 (LE) standard and has an approximate range of 50 metres. Designed specifically to be rugged and reliable, and with ease of use in mind, this compact handheld remote is ideal for heavy use in busy workshops.
The BTC10W operates in conjunction with a dedicated Bluetooth 5 receiver, BWR-74. The receiver can be fitted to the full range of Boston four post lifts and pit-mounted wheel play detectors. The torch control and receiver are ‘paired’ together during installation but in the event of loss or damage to the torch control, a replacement unit can easily be ‘paired’ by the user with a simple button press.
BTC10W contains a rechargeable battery and is supplied with a charging base / holder for storage when not in use. The BWR-74 contains a high-power magnet for easy placement on the side of the designated vehicle lift post or steel control cabinet.
With both analogue and digital outputs, the BWR-74 receiver and BTC10W torch control are versatile products making them adaptable to various other applications. OEM enquiries are welcome.
