Request callbackPD304-PT is our 100% UK manufactured single-plate Play Detector designed for inspection pits.
The single-phase control panel neatly mounts to the floor away from the pit area with ducting to carry the hydraulics to the moving plate assembly. The plate can be mounted to either side of the pit and the baseplate fits neatly into a pre-fabricated recess. The innovative single plate design allows movement in both rotational and lateral directions, thus meeting all UK DVSA requirements in a single unit.
Using either of our two rugged handheld torch controls (wired or wireless), the operator can easily check for wear and play in all steering and load-bearing components. The PD304 pit version also has an in-pit safety Emergency-Stop button and 24VDC socket for the cabled torch control or inspection lamps.
In addition to the high specification, the PD304 brings manufacturing back to the UK. Designed in-house by our technical design department and manufactured / assembled here at Boston, the PD304 really is high quality engineering at its best.
