Boston Jacking Beams are available with different load capacities, all with the following features and high specification.
The BJB28 is intended for small to medium size commercial vehicles with axle loads up to 2.8T. This beam is used mostly in Class 7 MoT testing stations and has a double extending top beam for extra wide reach, ideal for the larger vehicles now common in the UK market.
BJB28 is a manually operated beam, with pump-action lifting and automatic three position locking device, however, for faster operation in busy garages there is also our air operated version, the BJB28A. All beams come as standard with hose burst valves, finger guards, adjustable height screw pads and lifting blocks, and there is a large range of different support arms to fit all types of lifts and inspection pit profiles.
In addition to the high specification, the BJB20 and BJB28 are designed and manufactured here in the UK - high quality engineering at its best!
- Top Beam – 2 and 2.8 tonne models with an extra-wide extending top beam to 1700mm.
- Ram and Scissors – A full 260mm lift with proven hydraulics, the heart of every jacking beam - robust and reliable.
- Safety Features – Hose burst valve, overload valve, finger guards to comply EU machinery directive and CE.
- Quiet Pump – New design quiet pump, significantly enhances performance and reduces noise.
- Three-Position Mechanical Lock – Engages automatically creating safe working environment.
- Raiser Blocks – Standard with each beam. Rubber-topped screw pad BM1532A and aluminium block BM1526 that will fit anywhere over the length of the beam.
- Support Arms – Easy rolling operation using quality bearings.
- Roller Hook or Roller Flat Support Arms As Standard – Range of support arms available to fit most lifts and inspection pits.
