The Institute of Transport Management has announced that their 2009 Lift Manufacturing Award has been awarded to Boston Garage Equipment. Making the announcement on 3rd October in Birmingham, the Institute’s Media and PR Director, Mr Patrick Sheedy commented “In the modern workshop environment the garage equipment provider has to be able to deliver solutions and back-up for the tools that help us reach our deadlines and make our everyday workload lighter. Having 30 years experience with MoT testing, Boston Garage Equipment is in the position to provide its customers with a cost effective and comprehensive range of equipment, manufactured to exacting standards which have been developed over many years. Against this background, Boston Garage Equipment has been accredited with the Award for ‘MoT Lift Manufacturer 2009’.”
Boston’s Managing Director Ray Calcutt greeted the award with a promise that in the coming months, another new Boston lift would be announced with features unique to the vehicle repair industry. He stated “these are exciting times at Boston with innovation and design at the forefront of our engineering development.”
Boston joins a prestigious list of previous ITM Award winners, which includes Jaguar Cars, Bridgestone Tyres and ExxonMobil. The ITM Award ceremony is to be held at London’s Hilton Hotel, and attracts the leading lights from all sectors of the transport industry.
