BOSTON’S £20K COLLEGE DONATION PROMPTS EXPANSION OF MOTOR VEHICLE COURSES
Just one year ago, this new facility created such demand for Motor Vehicle courses that plans are already in hand for a major expansion at the Barking College.
A Governor of the College Management, Steve Thompson heaped praise on Boston in outlining the opportunities given to students, and confirmed that the new academic year enrolments could not cope with the keen interest in Motor Vehicle qualification training. Mr Thompson commented “Without Boston’s generous gift of a complete ARL automated testing bay, we would have been very restricted in the provision of hands-on-training. As it is this year’s courses are over-subscribed and funds are being allocated to urgently expand our facilities.”
Boston MD Ray Calcutt commented “At Boston we strongly believe that successful businesses should play a role in local affairs and contribute where they can to our industry’s progress especially in education. More young trainees in this area now benefit from courses using the latest equipment which in time will secure for them a sound career in the motor vehicle industry that continues to advance technically and present new challenges to the learning skills of students.”
